The National Divorce Real Estate Association was co-founded by a divorce attorney who repeatedly saw the same problem: when couples needed to sell their home during divorce, the process was often clouded by unease and distrust. Because of the nature of their relationship, both parties needed a Realtor they could instantly trust — someone neutral, professional, and skilled enough to guide them through one of the most important transactions of their lives.

Yet finding that Realtor was never easy. Divorce attorneys often struggle with selecting the perfect Realtor — one who both clients can quickly agree upon and have confidence in. Attorneys and clients alike needed professionals who could combine deep real estate knowledge with empathy, neutrality, and strong communication.

That’s why the Association was created — to certify and promote Realtors who meet the highest standards of professionalism and care, giving attorneys and families confidence that their transaction is in the right hands.
